Dear Fellow Franklin Parents/Guardians,
Welcome back to our returning families and our new families. Welcome to the Franklin community! We hope you all enjoyed the fun-filled summer days, and it is with great enthusiasm that we invite you to get ready for another exciting and successful school year.
With your support, we can continue to make Franklin academically challenging and nurturing for our children. Franklin School is a community based on a vibrant parent involvement. Your contribution, whether it is your time, knowledge, or resources make a difference. We personally invite you to become an involved member at Franklin. Thank you for helping in any way you can, and show your children the importance you place on their education!
We are very excited to announce that this year we have taken most of our first day packet information online. For your convenience, you can find this paperwork at www.franklin.smmusd.org/firstdaypackets. Here not only will you find all of the paperwork to get your child registered at school but also useful information like the school calendar and the ability to purchase school lunches online! We look forward to getting to know your family and hope you will join us at our Fall Picnic on Friday, October 14th, at our monthly PTA meetings, which are held on the first Wednesday or Thursday of each month (child care for children in K through 5 is provided at no cost during our evening meetings in our school library), and at all the events that are listed in the calendar.
